Buffy: Dancing with you is way better than trying to hook up with some good-looking guy. Xander: I think I liked it more when you were kicking me in my puffy groin.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

{{msbelle}} They make our hearts hurt. Dang kids.

Zen, Gud, I'm sorry for your absent friends.

sarameg, maybe you need one of those psycho notes on the fridge for your coworkers.

atropa, I'd ask you to come here, but the kids would probably just hide.

Laura, I hope Zoe's ills are much smaller than the least bad scenario imagined (awkward sentence alert).

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

My heart hurts for all the injured and grieving Buffistas out there.

What Jessica said. But I'm so thankful for this place and the chance to care for one another.

Hi Deena!

meara, I hope it is just a strain. Yikes.

Thanks, Laura, for the cheerleading. I have barely made a dent in grading. sigh. The papers I am reading are so very bad. ACK.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Dear Mac, this is your new life. Multiple texts from your mom. A job assigned to you for when you get home. Immediate question about a class situation with instruction to get it resolved today before you come home. Request for your weekly work schedule to be sent to me.

Failure to do any of this will = zero data on his phone.

I am not sure how long I'll have the energy to do this, but I have more time than money and I am smarter than him. Also angrier, but I'm trying to keep that in check.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I'm so sorry, Zen. {{{Zen}}}

So sorry, Gud. It's so hard.

Laura, so many good vibes for Zoe and a more hopeful outcome.

Another friend of mine had to put down her beloved cat this weekend. And between her and all the Wolfenoot people posting about beloved pets that have passed, FB has been a very tear-inducing place this weekend.

meara, I also think muscle-strain is more likely with the delayed reaction pain. I was thinking of the couple of occasions I went rock climbing - the next day my hands were a little stiff, but not so bad; the second day I could barely close them.

msbelle, you have the patience of a saint. Good luck.

In case I forgot anyone, love to you all. {{{Buffistas}}}

Our wings are not tired.

It is so much less energy, although more money, if they would do what they are supposed to do so they could be rewarded. I so feel your pain.

hip deep in pie

meara, we clearly need to protect you with many layers of bubble wrap.

Laura, I am so sorry. I have been there, years ago, I took my cat Pico in for a procedure to drain what we thought was an abscess only to find it was bone cancer. It was heartbreaking. My love to you and the family.

So shopping during the Mercury retrograde is going as well as you would think. (I don't even believe in it. Or do I?) Friday, a pair of boots I ordered were marked "out for delivery". Only to have a mysterious "weather event" force the delivery truck back to the garage right around supper time. They arrived today though, and they're not the brand advertised on the website (a reliable Cdn winter boot brand) but store brand (Naturalizer). They're also supposed to be wide-calf and 8W, which is what the box says, but the boots say 8M. I returned them to the store and didn't even get an apology from the salesperson.

Then my one package that's actually a gift was shipped via Canada Post, which is in the middle of a labour dispute and is staging rotating strikes. I've heard they're a month behind on packages. Miraculously, that package was also supposed to be out for delivery today. Until Halifax staff walked off the job. Womp. Womp. I'm hoping it'll arrive tomorrow.
