Dana, smite them.
Laura, is this baby watch for a S-I-L or a D-I-L? I just ask, because I know (thought?) your D-I-L is expecting and S and D are next to each other on the keyboard.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

You've done a lot, Dana, I'm not surprised the onerousing is all used up.
Sorry, Jess
I'm enormously tired and not wanting to do anything today and I don't know why. Slept about like I usually do. Haven't done much. Thoroughly wiped out and want to go back to bed very badly. Will have lunch instead, see how that goes.
Cindy, I know Laura's DiL only went public with the baby news in June, so I don't think she's due for a while yet
My sleeping problem right now is that I have about an equally bad time trying to sleep in the heat or with the window unit a/c on. So last night was also bad for me.
Whatever threads of focus I've been clinging to since March are just gone.
I'm sorry. I wish there was some hope things would be normal any time soon.

This is my SIL. She is 44 and has been trying for a very long time. Her water broke although she is still a few weeks from her due date. Baby is plenty big enough and they should be fine, but at this point she expects a c-section when her doctor shows up after his office hours today. The drugs to try and bring on active labor haven't done the job.
My DIL is due in January. She knew going in that she would have to have a c-section so I told her to schedule it Dec 31st for the tax break. She said she didn't know if she wanted a 2020 baby.
Timelies all!
Annnnd now our governor signed something overriding local proclamations about private schools. So we have no idea what's going on with Mr. S's school.
Argh, Sheryl! More uncertainty, just what everybody needs.
I'm blah today too, for no good reason. Except, I guess, regular depression mixed with pandemic fatigue? Everything just seems like Too Much. I mostly want to just sit in the shade with iced tea and read and smoke, like, forever.
Are people watching Brave New World? Which thread would that be?
In small world theatre news, I just rewatched Hamilton and made it through the credits without tears coating my eyes. The wig designer used to work with me at the Eastman Opera when I was a dresser in like, 1995-2000! He was the wig designer, and one thing I knew was DO NOT TOUCH THE WIGS! I hope he is doing OK in the pandemic, because I seriously picked the best time ever to give up on theatre as a money making enterprise and I am so worried for people who were doing well, because it is just seeminly done until January. I was already closeish to the production for someone who works at a college theatre, as I worked with the costume designer for Bring It On AND was accidentally once sent Jonathon Groff's measurements, which gave me a chuckle.
