I'm On Call until Sunday evening, so I already know this week is going to be hot garbage. I spent some time this weekend preparing so I shouldn't have to do anything else as long as I handle work. And maybe get to the grocery store before I go on shift sometime this week.
And of course the reasonable course of action is to terminate my coverage, instead of ACTUALLY TRYING TO CONTACT ME ABOUT IT.
Flames on the side of my face.
I woke up at 5:30 and kind of slept fitfully until 9:30. Dealt with the insurance thing, which included being directed to a wrong number. Rescheduled the dentist appointment, since it may take days for my insurance to show up correctly. Then had therapy. Then had a work call. I am out of onerousing.
I haven't slept well the past 4 nights and it's really taking a toll. Whatever threads of focus I've been clinging to since March are just gone.
Dana, smite them.
Laura, is this baby watch for a S-I-L or a D-I-L? I just ask, because I know (thought?) your D-I-L is expecting and S and D are next to each other on the keyboard.
You've done a lot, Dana, I'm not surprised the onerousing is all used up.
Sorry, Jess
I'm enormously tired and not wanting to do anything today and I don't know why. Slept about like I usually do. Haven't done much. Thoroughly wiped out and want to go back to bed very badly. Will have lunch instead, see how that goes.
Cindy, I know Laura's DiL only went public with the baby news in June, so I don't think she's due for a while yet
My sleeping problem right now is that I have about an equally bad time trying to sleep in the heat or with the window unit a/c on. So last night was also bad for me.
Whatever threads of focus I've been clinging to since March are just gone.
I'm sorry. I wish there was some hope things would be normal any time soon.

This is my SIL. She is 44 and has been trying for a very long time. Her water broke although she is still a few weeks from her due date. Baby is plenty big enough and they should be fine, but at this point she expects a c-section when her doctor shows up after his office hours today. The drugs to try and bring on active labor haven't done the job.
My DIL is due in January. She knew going in that she would have to have a c-section so I told her to schedule it Dec 31st for the tax break. She said she didn't know if she wanted a 2020 baby.
Timelies all!
Annnnd now our governor signed something overriding local proclamations about private schools. So we have no idea what's going on with Mr. S's school.
Argh, Sheryl! More uncertainty, just what everybody needs.
