I look more rad than Lutheranism

I've also been getting audiobooks, because summer means an upswing in migraines.

When I have to lie down with the microwave beanbag on my head for a migraine, I end up listening to one of John Mulaney's Netflix specials, or letting an episode of some show that I've seen a gazillion times play on the iPad while I listen to it. Audiobooks make much more sense.

Oh that dress is super cute, Tep!

It's so comfortable, too. And I definitely did not pay $100 for it -- I got it during a random sale for like $47 or so.

Tim (well, *Ava*) is perpetually shopping on Poshmark, so fancy clothes get delivered like once a month -- today's delivery was a houndstooth bodysuit and a black pencil skirt. Tres chic. (And I feel the need to point out that the last article of clothing I bought was $7 gym shorts, and that right there is the dynamic in our marriage. I have literally asked "Don't you have enough black heels?!?" I'm a goddamn stereotype.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Goddammit Marshalls sending me orders when I am about to quit for the day

I think I might have registered with Chirp but forgot about it, I should check on that. I have a delinquent fine situation with the library that I need to sort out before I can make use of them...

Oh, and I bought a new lawnmower and batteries for the weed-eater. It's a thrill a minute over here.

I did buy a whole new weed-eater because the old one died. That was an absolute necessity, though, not a splurge. Stupid lawn.

Stupid lawn.

No truer words.

Although using the weed-eater is so damn satisfying. I get a lot of aggression out that way.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I've also bee doing more audiobooks again. They are very helpful if I want to rest while ltc is outside playing and don't want to hear her squealing.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Thrill-a-minute? H just changed out all the Damp-Rids in the workshop. Still to go--under his bathroom vanity and mine. Woohoo! On the other hand, no mildew, so that's a good.
