I had to buy boring shirts for work, and two pairs of pants. Why she wants us in dark stuff in a fucking bakery is beyond me.

I've also binged on $1.99 Kindle deals. Like, a lot. But I did pick up some things for the house, and a new harness for the dog, which she Does Not Like At All.

Speaking of original art, Mr. Loomy is auctioning off what is probably his most iconic painting for M:tG. The auction starts Monday, and when it was announced to the FB group, people lost their damn minds.

Yeah, I have been getting the $1.99 kindle deals, too, and occasionally pricier books because damn it all I can do most days is read! I've been better about that this month than last month, but it was bad for a while.

It's actually been a really hard year, when you stop and do the math. Eliot would cry, too, if it didn't take him seventy minutes of therapy, two cocktails, and a Sondheim medley before he can experience a human emotion through the haze of his PTSD.

I bought a dress to pretend I'm at the beach and not loafing around the house: [link] I'll wear it to loaf in our overhauled backyard when that project gets finished.

Also gym shorts, because I am loafing around the house and not at the beach. And I'm buying skin care but not makeup, because I almost never leave the house, and when I do, half my face is covered with a mask anyway.

I think I am all out of can for the day.

I've got an Audible subscription and I had stockpiled credits for a while so I was burning through those but now I have to wait another month for a new credit to get anything new. Audiobooks are a little rich for my blood, really, but I like them very much.

When I have to lie down with the microwave beanbag on my head for a migraine, I end up listening to one of John Mulaney's Netflix specials, or letting an episode of some show that I've seen a gazillion times play on the iPad while I listen to it. Audiobooks make much more sense.
