Mal: How come you didn't turn on me, Jayne? Jayne: Money wasn't good enough. Mal: What happens when it is? Jayne: Well... that'll be an interesting day.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Whoa, Matt! Yeah, that's no good. I hope your weekend is super relaxing and enjoyable!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

In retrospect, this was not perhaps the week to start a new medication -- but then, it's hard to time these things. But I suspect my all-day disabling headache on Tuesday was the result of the (minimal) dose of Citalopram.

Prostate cancer is one of those cancers that seems to get more manageable each year, so fingers crossed that it goes that way!

Our wings are not tired.

Yikes, Matt. Not good at all.

Laura, isn't it great to be needed to such an extent that you feel like nothing can ever get done without you?

I did mention that absolutely all the information, account numbers, license numbers, user ids, passwords, links, and everything a person might need in life is contained in my knowledge base and readily accessible to my family. That's what I get for being the organized one.

See also, being the only one who can find things. I'm sure I am not alone in that magic skill.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I've often worked with men who were always asking me where they left something. I didn't always answer, "Dude, I am not your wife" but sometimes I did.

Got my car back. Turns out they didn't charge me anything, not even the diagnostic fee, because they didn't find anything wrong. I guess the car is just developing a personality.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Laura, I have referred to myself as "The Human PDA"(like a Blackberry or a Palm Pilot, not the other kind of PDA) from time to time.

Indeed, including needed to be recharged from time to time.

ION, I have lost the one thing I could talk to my brother about! He is so right wing and so in love with all conspiracy theories that we were down to discussing baseball. I am not a big fan, but I would listen to him talk about his beloved Yankees and pretend interest. Well, they took a knee so he canceled his MLB subscription and will never watch baseball again. Sigh. My sister is at a loss now because her texting back and forth during games was their main means of communication too.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Much love to shrift send her dad.

Oh Laura, I am so sorry about your brother. And everything else.

When I worked in costumes with student wardrobe workers, I had an actual lesson to teach them how to find things for actors, rather than coming to me to find it! And I lose everything! But somehow I was the only person who could find a belt when it dropped on the floor.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Sometimes it's not just organizational skills, it's the patience to work within a system and not blow up at customer service, or give up on phone trees or hold times, or wonky websites.

I'm far from the most organized, but I can keep zen in case of bureaucracy.

Oh, Laura, I'm sorry your brother has gone that far down that rabbit hole. How sad.
