I called in sick to work yesterday due to a migraine. That was a good decision. Unfortunately, today I have 8 meetings, and it's only 8 because a meeting was rescheduled for tomorrow last minute.
And now it looks like my dad tested positive for prostate cancer, so now we get to wait for a biopsy.
Oh dear. Dad~ma, shrift, whatever that might look like right now.
Laura - Mac briefly had a PT, it was not great.
Shrift, I'm so sorry.
Laura, my BFF's DH had a PT Cruiser, and it had a lot of problems.
Health~ma for your dad, shrift.
Yeah, the online reviews for the PT Cruisers are not great. Oh well.
I'm going to try not to worry too much until after he visits his urologist and we know more, but I'm not sure I'll succeed.
Anyone ever have a PT Cruiser?
There were not built to last. They are essentially a Dodge Neon underneath the retro look. The don't have a great track record, which is a big part of why you'll find them cheap.
My sympathies, shrift. Let me know if/when I can help.
Laura, is this a job he's likely to keep into the winter and beyond? It may be a good idea to get a car that does well in the snow, preferably FWD. The best car I ever had was a Subaru Forester, which had AWD. You're not bulletproof, but the drive was sensitive enough to increase power so you hugged the road just a little better -- and you never got stuck parked in a snow bank.
I miss my Subaru. sigh.
Subarus are awesome. My sister had well over 300,000 on hers before it totally rusted out. She would have just wrapped the whole thing in duct tape if it would pass NYS inspection.
