When you look back at this, in the three seconds it'll take you to turn to dust, I think you'll find the mistake was touching my stuff.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm so sorry, Zen. It adds an extra layer of suck when it happens on a holiday. My mother's grandmother (who raised her) died on Thanksgiving and we never celebrated the holiday until my oldest sister went to school and came home asking why. We always made a point of making Mom tell us stories about her Gram to share with us on Thanksgiving to include her memory. When you are ready I know we all would like you to share any memories.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Glad to hear the cauliflower dressing was good, Laura!

Happy pie-for-breakfast day! Sitting around my parents' family room sipping coffee and discussing the news after working out how all of us can completely avoid shopping today. I might have to buy cat food - Pet Food Express shouldn't be too mobbed with Black Friday shoppers, right?

Pet food is one of the things that I have on autoship. I've been doing more and more autoship for things like vitamins.

Yeah, the canned cat food I had on autoship became unavailable and I haven't done the research to select a new one yet, so I have to pick up some periodically.

I'm sorry Zen, that sucks.

Laura that's heartbreaking, but I'm so glad he's doing well, at least? Grrr

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm sorry, Zen.

We had a nice Thanksgiving. Husband's corn casserole was quite popular, and you know my family takes its food seriously.

Now we will apparently spend the day researching TVs to determine whether we want to go buy one today. Husband tried to convince me that going early to Best Buy was the strategy to beat the crowds. I laughed in his face and refused to go anywhere.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm so sorry, Zen.

It just occurred to me that I should have been at Best Buy or somewhere at midnight, since my computer keyboard is crapping out. This is especially a problem since it's the A key that keeps not working, and I have an A in my password....

Also I just bought a small turkey breast, which meant figuring out when to cook it, and I think the answer is I should go see Widows now and cook it tomorrow, as I am going to an open house at 5ish today, and if I do it tomorrow, I can just cook and eat it.

For the record, it was 99 cents a pound!

Herding cats for fun

The difference between Haiti and North Dakota is going to be an education all by itself. That's a remote, empty big-sky place where car owners have plug in devices to keep the battery from freezing. Make sure the kid has gloves, hat and scarf, which he probably never needed before.

(Zen) I think big souls sometimes need a big night to pass on.

Everybody else, I want your leftovers today.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I lived in Williston, ND for a while. It was so flat and the wind blows forever.
