Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

Our wings are not tired.

Busy day so far. Up at 6 to do a bit of work until 7, when I drove my son to work, which takes 1:40 round trip. Work, sudoku, work, then made myself some lunch. Have to leave again at 1 to pick up son, then to bank to open an account for him.

Then the library has a outside used book sale, and clarinet concert in the library gazebo. The library itself is closed, but you can order your book to pick up from them. And they are continuing their summer concert series where they have local artists do their thing in the gazebo and you can spread a blanket or bring a lawn chair to listen. They do that twice a week.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Also working at 6, but got my usual Tuesday stuff done fairly fast and have been somewhat fuzzy about what needs doing since...sadly I don't think going back to bed will be an option.

I'm around, just haven't posted. Was up early to meet the folks who are doing the work on the partition wall in the garage for my new home office space. Tape and mud should be done today which hopefully means I can paint tomorrow.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

I'm still on the loose. Or not so loose, really, since I'm busy with WFH.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have a question! Since I have Disney+ for Hamilton, should I watch the Mandalorian? I do not care about Star Wars although I have seen most of the movies.

You're spoiled for who shows up at the end of the first episode, right?

I was wondering the same thing, Jesse! I am also thinking of watching the movies I haven't seen- started watching Solo but didn't have the attention span for it at the time, may try again. I figure I should watch the latest one, Rise of Skywalker?

I'm a pretty big Star Wars fan, but even then I still passed on watching Rise of Skywalker. By all accounts it sucks pretty hard.

Herding cats for fun

I really enjoyed The Mandalorian. It has a spare storytelling style that is refreshing after seeing the screen overpacked with whizzing space ships during the second trilogy. The music is haunting and evocative and the emotional payoff satisfying. Plus the cuteness of Baby Yoda was nice. I thought it was worth my while.
