could you specify as to whether you're not-recommending Task Rabbit or assembling furniture
Sorry for not being clear. I am not recommending assembling furniture, so I'm just agreeing that the decision you've already made is a good one.

but Jeff Sessions got his ass handed to him in Alabama, and I take some satisfaction from that.
Indeed. The first senator to endorse Trump. Why people stay loyal to him is a mystery.
I think the theory is to get something - public recognition, an entry for their resume, some grift - and then get out and cash in. Not working so well for Jefferson Beauregard Sessions at this point, but others may have done better (Bolton?).
Sessions made the mistake of having one (1) molecule of professional pride, which he used to recuse himself in a way that discommoded Trump. Others have shown themselves to be less burdened.
Timelies all!
Worked from home, such as that was. Back to the lab tomorrow.
Someone pointed out the downside of Sessions losing - no more Kate McKinnon performances as him.
Toddson, just saw your earlier post about furniture. I also have problems with getting large items into my apartment. I had a good experience with Bassett, and it seems like they always have a good sale deal on something if you're willing to furnish gradually. (Right now, I'm at my Bassett office desk -- which I got for half price.)
Thanks! I've been saving for about 18 months, expecting to buy new furniture (my old dresser was from 1975), so I do have money available.
Ugh. You may recall my aunt the RN had been furloughed because of her age (late 70s), then after she was home for a couple weeks they called her back to work because they were short of nurses at her hospital. Today, she is positive. Light symptoms, fevers, but her husband is even older than her with significant health issues.
She has been super careful, stripping outside and going immediately to the shower every work day. Still. Of course all the family are being tested now and she is isolating at home. Several of her kids and grandkids have had plenty of contact with her too.
DH is very upset. Mostly at her hospital for asking her to come back to work, knowing she wouldn't say no.

Rightly so considering her age and her husband's issues.
