Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

TK is Transitional Kindergarten, for the kids who are born between September and December (SF schools have an early-September cutoff for Kindergarten entrance). So, it's kind of a preschool/kindergarten hybrid. Same hours as the rest of the school, though. And it's tough, because the early elementary grades are the grades that most benefit from in-person teaching, but I really don't want anyone to be at risk.

Yeah, this is really hard for everyone.

Aw, Karl. I vote random party whenever you can because I kind of always vote that

Oh, no, juliana, Richard III! Sadface for alla that, of course, but...

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yeah, we had a significant decade anniversary while H was away tending his dying relatives. Friends marked the occasion, but it's an achievement uncelebrated by us.

Karl you, Lisa, and the ones who've been with you along the way should celebrate whenever the opportunity presents itself. I'm truly sympathetic for everyone whose celebratory plans have been derailed. Life is fraught. We should all celebrate at every available opportunity.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Congratulations on the baby, Laura!

Sorry about the bunnies, askye.

I'm not really here.

Our wings are not tired.

I thought I saw Zenkitty, but may have been mistaken.

Reports this morning of the RNC holding their convention in Florida, in August, Outside. Seriously, I laughed out loud.

eta: did they ever hear of hurricane season?

I heard a bunch of Senators aren't going, Laura

Fashion question: if you are, say, Emily Gilmore, does your mask match your shoes, belt, and handbag, or does it match your dress?

Now tagless for your comfort.

I hope they will melt in the heat and then get washed away in torrential rains.

That is a great question, -t. I'm leaning towards accessorizing rule of shoes, belt, handbag. But I do tend to match my masks to my accessories (mostly because 95% of my clothes are black). FWIW, my mask is black today.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So we're one month and one week from school starting in SF and (a) Matilda does not have a high school assigned to her and may not until October; (b) we've received no information from the district on how they're going to handle the coronavirus.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

did they ever hear of hurricane season?

That's part of that climate thing, which (as we all know) is totally made up by the climate-antifa alliance for those big environmental bucks. I'm sure they'll be fiiiiiiine.

Our wings are not tired.

I've been avoiding carbs, but I'll have to sit back with popcorn to watch the show if they do convene outdoors in August. Of course, the senators are bright enough not to attend, but there are plenty of delegates who will be there. I have to believe they will either come to their senses, or that they won't convince a venue to cooperate.
