Teppy, I noticed that, too. Not sure which one they kept? Maybe the Reynolds one counted, even though it was incomplete?

The Reynolds one is the officially kept one re LMM himself.

I believe the one they kept was "Sit down, John, you fat motherfucker"
Nah, that's always bleeped.

Interesting!

Bombed, surely?
Watching it right now! And tbh, I had only heard a couple of the songs before—I have a hard time getting into musicals without watching them.
Timelies all!
Happy 4th of July to the American Buffistas!
My secret shame is that I have ever only listened through Act I, for the same reason.
OMG, my face is swollen from crying at Hamilton. I have watched twice, and I took notes, but the biggest thing that stood out to me was Philips death, which you can't get without the visual. And also how good Anthony Ramos was at playing 9 year old Philip,

I still haven't seen Hamilton
I watched Hamilton last night. The production was great, the performances were amazing (even if LMM had the weakest voice of the cast), I admire the hell out of the whole thing, and ... it didn't grab me. I didn't get emotionally invested, and the songs slid right off my brain after I'd heard them. But I'm really glad I got the chance to watch it.
(Also, I'm envious of Hamilton fans, because while I suspect that a professionally-filmed version of Wicked is out there somewhere and will eventually be released, I don't think there's one for Beetlejuice, and the closest I'll get to seeing it is bootleg footage.)
