earliest psych appt is 7/15 - SOOOO trying through regular medical appt if they will refill.

I have a 1 hour break on my all day training to try and do these tasks and it is now half over.

Punishingly Intricate

Can you get a virtual appt with your Tx psych?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My aunt has done research on ancestry but it just stops with bad records and various spellings of names.

My mom has been doing the genealogical research for my family and she keeps saying that our ancestors were really good at not getting recorded for anything and really bad at spelling their names consistently. I should really sit down with her and look at the big picture, she's been telling me little interesting details as she finds them but I don't have any sense of how they all fit together.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

When Hil was doing some geneological research on my mom's side of the family she discovered multiple spellings of my maternal grandmother's name. But did find out that she went more by her middle name, so Prudence Azalea (pronounced "Aza-lee" with spellings that reflected that).

And then because that side of the family goes way back in the South she turned up slaveholders, and lots of relatives in counties which were infamous Klan hotbeds.

Turns out both my maternal and paternal lines go back before the revolutionary war. So Matilda can double shot the DAR.

I got my meds in TX with a PCP not a Psych and she has since retired.

Less than 15 min for a video dr they say, so I am not doing a thing to look better. perhaps an anxiety attack on the call will help? who knows!

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Success! Yay, msbelle!

I took 1/2 an Ativan (my anxiety had spiked super bad, you guys), and it's smoothed the edges off, but now I want a nap.

YAY MEDS. Honestly crying on the call is probably good (for you and for the doctor, I mean, not just in the sense of helping you get the prescription). I am REAL BAD at trying to seem okay and together for the people who are supposed to help me in my TOTALLY NOT OKAYNESS, so I'm kind of in awe of people who can do that

Woot! Do what it takes, kiddo!

I'm glad you found something that worked, msbelle.
