And if he does it on the way out the door I don't know who will stand up for him: when he's out of power I don't know how much of the GOP is going to continue to ride on his coattails. It may depend on how badly he crashes and burns, I guess.

I think I've seen one Biden sign. There are still a lot of Bernie signs up in my neighborhood, which is about right for this place. IIRC, there's still one Yang sign in a neighbor's yard, too.

That seems like it *should* be true, but I feel certain that there are people advising him he absolutely can and I don't even know who would rule on that if he tries it so who knows what might happen? I hate that this is something we have to talk about as an actual possibility and not a weird it'll never happen but let's look at the limits of the law hypothetical.
