Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am not feeling this whole "work" thing today.

SAME. And I have hours free in which to catch up with email or whatever. And yet? No interest.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I haven't slept well in like a week and today it's all catching up with me. I just want to inflate the air chair and lie out in the sun all day.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am not feeling this whole "work" thing today.

Hard same! I stopped working yesterday after 8 hours even though I had lots still to be done and it did not get done by elves overnight, dammit. So disapppointed.

Sorry about the budget woes, msbelle. Houses and their expenses, man, that does not seem like how it should go.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

And, I found this amusing. Love John Cleese (I've seen a couple of places in town where sidewalks have been declared to be under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Silly Walks ... one had chalk indicating the kind of silly walk to use in specific sections).

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have had not great dreams two night in a row, well really three I guess. I need to get off devices earlier and read my nice rom-com book before bed.

Still no electrician.

I did a work thing, I think this means I get to do a house thing.

I have not been sleeping well. Stress ... I'm coming in to the office every day and, since my commute - one-way - runs 60 to 90 minutes (under the former, "normal" circumstances it was 40 minutes tops) leaves me with little time at home. Meanwhile, I'm trying to get ready to move. The movers come next Thursday. I haven't packed much and my apartment is such a mass of STUFF that I don't have room for boxes. I've been getting rid of stuff - I have a charity coming Saturday to pick up bags (and bags) of clothes, shoes, etc., but that's taking up so much space. It's looking like something from Hoarders - narrow pathways between furniture and piles of stuff, all over the place. I get home and I'm tired and my arthritis is bad. Sunday I was pretty much immobilized with pain - right shoulder and hip, so I could barely walk and my right arm wasn't much good. Last Thursday I was immobilized with back spasms; Friday I managed to give myself a case of heat exhaustion/stroke. I've dumped books (which hurts). But every time I turn around, I find more STUFF that I have to deal with. And the movers have very specific requirements for sanitation/safety.

Our wings are not tired.

I have not been sleeping well. Stress ...

I'm afraid it does the opposite to me. All I wanna do is sleep. Moving is super stressful, Todd.

I'm trying to figure out the NY migration. It's complicated.

Your commute increased?

If you're asking me, yes. Due to the protests downtown (between home and office) a lot of streets are closed off, bus and rail service has been seriously reduced, so my commute is longer. And since I have to change from one mode to the other - and the bus drivers are not required to pick people up if they don't want to - it can take 90 minutes.
