I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Uncertainty is the worst. I hope it works out okay.

Eek, good luck Gud!

My ankle is hurting like crazy today, grr. And I have so much work to do but tomorrow is my last allowed day of part time. And I am worried my ankle is not healing or I messed it up when I accidentally stepped down on it over the weekend or my bones are secretly as fragile as matchsticks and the basket from my scooter seems to have been lost somewhere on this trip to my friends house and and and....ply last night I was spiraling out about (a) not wanting Wednesday night's hangout to be four couples and me the lame old spinster but (b) hating to say anything because then everyone is annoyed and thinks I'm making too big a deal and now I'm the BITTER lame old spinster. And asking for help is getting so old (and only a small part of that asking has created results) but I've still got six more weeks of this shit at least (and that's if next weeks appointment goes ok, see above re panic and now I'm back to where I started in this drama and typing this is avoiding work I should be doing and and and...)

Ann, that's a ferret.

Good luck, Gud. Not that you need more stress in your life.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh my, Gud. Hope that works out ok for you!

That is an epic meara, Zen! Well done!

I'm sorry, meara. None of that sounds fun. I hope Wednesday night turns out to be a fun time regardless.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, meara, I'm sorry about all of this! I definitely go back and forth between caring about being the lame old spinster and not caring at all! I guess it mostly depends on the couples.

Oh man, Gud! I hope all of that works out for you.

Clearly I just need all my spinster friends in one place, jeez. Can you get here by Wednesday night jesse? :)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wish! (Although I do like my family Thanksgiving, so getting back by Thursday midday would be kind of a lot.)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The Banza brand chickpea Mac and cheese is actually really yummy if you're gluten free. I bought it because I wanted ltc to have something with protein when she is being picky.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I've wondered about chickpea pasta! I'll have to try that.
