Yay new puppy! Meara, there are probably puppy "good citizen" classes near you. They seem like something that could happen outside, with social distancing.
David, that's appalling. Even if it's not Matilda's dream high school, your city is responsible for finding her a high school. Are they generally this messed up, or is it a pandemic special?
Trudy, I believe you are correct - maybe I need to re-read yaya
PUPPY!!!!! !!!!!!!! !!!!
What kind? The puppy's I fostered learned very quickly if you set a routine right away. Chewing with the pittie was the one thing I didn't have her long enough to work on.
I bet Consuela and Bonny and Nanita will have thoughts. I mostly deal with older doggos.
Puppy Puppy Puppy!!!
Buffistas I have a question. What is the name for something in a film that comes up on the screen that says a place name. It is escaping my brain and I want to suggest someone do it in a video they made for work. I can't even google it properly today!?!
That's what I came up with, but I was hoping there was another name that didn't imply inserting a slide into the video. THey have videod a windsheild survey (basically a video out the window of Rochester neighborhoods so the students can see the resources available to various neighborhoods) Usually they make the students take the bus and do this on foot, but now it is COVID-19, so I think she should put the neighborhood, street names, or zipcodes on the bottom of the screen.
That's it!!!! Thank you. I feel like I am losing my mind because I don't speak out loud in person to anyone but a cat.
Yay puppy for meara!!
I am personally feeling dead-eyed and defeated after the latest round of SFUSD not placing Matilda in a high school at all.
Holy shit, that is terrible, David.
I am very tired and would like a proper weekend after working a good chunk of both Saturday and Sunday. I don't know how people who actually work hard and long hours do it.
Although my relationship with Facebook is on thin ice, I still get the email reminders of birthdays from them. It often amuses me to picture the various people born on the same day, who don't know each other at all, meeting to toast their birthday. Today is East coast range. One Bahamian Olympic athlete friend who is living in Fort Lauderdale now, a librarian I went to elementary school with who lives in the Adirondacks, and in between our very own askye. I think these three women would enjoy each other's company quite a lot, although from seriously diverse backgrounds.
Short version - happy birthday askye!
