Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay!

Our wings are not tired.

Yay Ms Negative!

Besides the heat of masks I miss smiles. But I expect them to be a part of life for some time.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yay, Cashmere!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That's great, Cashmere!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Hooray for negative!

Laura, that's fair, but silver lining is not having to worry about Bitchy Resting Face.

Yay to absence of Bat Flu!

I bought a big tub of churro ice cream tonight, which turned out to be much less tasty than I'd imagined. It's okay, but you'd think the combo of cinnamon and caramelized sweet milk would be more than just okay.

One of the problems with masks is that the dog cannot really see my eyes when I'm working with her: I have to take it off.

I made green curry fish for dinner and now I'm bingeing ATLA.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Yay for negative results!

Ice cream: one of my favorite places offers ice cream in non-traditional flavors. I especially love the grapefruit-basil, the saffron, and the black sesame flavors. They're really good.

Now tagless for your comfort.

How I miss Graeter's and Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream.

The local Ice Cream war is between Belt's Soft Serve (home of the ridiculously big cone) and King Cone (of the huge, chunky stuff).

I just miss amazingly smooth, high butter fat content, hard scoop ice cream.

I still can't find the holy grail of my childhood place (the Flagpole), which was smooth, rich lemon ice cream. Not custard, not gelato, not filled with lemon zest, but ice cream.

I also own a Graeter's neoprene pint sleeve to keep my hands from getting cold.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I got some rhubarb in my produce box this week, and I was just about to make a cake out of it, but then I realized I don't have enough butter OR milk. So I guess I'm going to the grocery store today.
