-t, I thought about doing that, but I am hesitant to make someone dead name themselves if that is what is going on here. Also I know that they had to already have this discussion with TONS of people since I am not the official record keeper for HR, not the email person, nor their department person, nor the benefits person, nor the payroll person - all of which I would guess Trina had to deal with to get things updated.
I may reach out to our records people to see if they know, if the boss does not get back with me.
ION - my dog-walker is probably going to regret telling me that she does not vote.
Ah, did not realize you are not official record keeper. There's no clue from the email address Trina used, I guess?
ION - my dog-walker is probably going to regret telling me that she does not vote.
If she doesn't then I'll be happy to join in on the harassment. I'm not at all shy about asking people if they are registered and planning on voting. Everybody gotta vote!
not for the first time huggles the people's republic of massachusetts with all the masking rules and all
Our administration has decided that we cannot require customers to wear masks. Apparently we can't even suggest it and provide the masks. (I guess because we're a public space and they are afraid of litigation like whoa.)
Not being able to suggest/offer a mask seems silly. That's entirely different from requiring.
I purchased 50 cloth masks basically so I could toss them in the wash after every quick use. It is hot here so masks get sweaty quickly. I've given a handful to various basketball kids and my cleaning lady and they were all grateful. The masks were $30 for 50 and it is nice to have bunches in the cars and quickly available as needed.
Timelies all!
Had a thunderstorm last night, but it's still hot and humid here. Yeah, I know, summer in the DC area.
I had to walk out of a meeting earlier when the storms came here, to see about closing windows. It was crazy!
I was at the grocery store. I waited in my car for ten minutes for the storm to pass before I ran in, and then when I was on my way out it was coming down in buckets again.
