Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

We have thunder.

I think it's thunder. Who knows? This year, it could be Mt. Baker rumbling its way to eruption, I wouldn't be surprised.

Our wings are not tired.

Good grief, working without AC is crazy. I hope it is resolved today. Perhaps the corporate visit can help with getting things fixed.

Yeah volcano sounds about right.

Woke early so tossed wash in dryer and have settled in with book and coffee. Holding off on news.

Oh Monday.. shakes fists

Looks to be a beautiful day at least.

I watched all of Queer Eye yesterday instead of doing housework. I think it was the right choice.

Goal today is to get through marked and unaddressed work emails. I think that will do a lot to reduce anxiety.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just started watching the new Queer Eye this weekend!

I had a very short to-do list for the weekend, and did none of it! It's all stuff I could do any day, really, so we'll see how this week goes.

Today I have meetings at 10, 11, 11:15, 11:45, 12, 1, 2, and 3. That will be fun.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Today I have meetings at 10, 11, 11:15, 11:45, 12, 1, 2, and 3. That will be fun.

I think...it won't be, actually?

Oh yay, the noon meeting is being rescheduled. Now it will actually be fine.

I am so happy that I have only one standing meeting each week. I am actually shocked that my direct boss has not requested a weekly one on one, but she has not, so I am not going to mention it.

Yeah the house work can be done any day, so who cares when I do it.

In work breaks today:

- set up zelle and pay gate/garage door guy
- find empty plastic tub for winter stuff
- load of laundry

If I get that done and my work than I'll start on other things.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm attempting to show ltc the CNN/Sesame Street town hall on racism. It's very talky and a little over her head at this age.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That is still a lot of meetings, Jesse. I have one today that is just a presentation i passively receive and I kinda resent it.

Feel much better today, but I plan on getting tested tomorrow regardless since I have the appointment.
