I fed off a flowerperson, and I spent the next six hours watchin' my hand move.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

just crying intermittently all day. I fear waking up to more deaths.

All the health~ma to Amyth, and hope that the surgeries will get her on the road to recovery!

In lighter news, Scott Baio should change his name to Turkey because Wanda Sykes just roasted him: [link]

Our wings are not tired.

Sending all the ~ma to Amyth.

That was fun, Matt.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I got some gardening tools at Ocean State Job Lot, and a 'mini hacksaw' (I think I just telepathically saw DX wince) at Harbor Freight Tools next door. It's 75F here and the humidity is much better than last night, so there may be rather a lot of Backyard Time today.

Our wings are not tired.

Just tuned in to NASA to see what the chances are for a launch today. Not holding out much hope. I'll take advantage of the partly cloudy skies to do some yard work. The storms of the past week or so has made the lawn a complete jungle.

eta: still at 50/50 - better than it was

Herding cats for fun

Charles is not in charge, Snott B.O. You get back to whatever it is that you do. Is it mostly blocking people on Twitter? Don't worry that makes you look like a delicate snowflake, now. It's funnier for us this way!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

(I think I just telepathically saw DX wince)

If it's the right tool for the job, no wincing. And I am a huge fan of both Harbor Freight and Job Lot (whose headquarters and main warehouse use to be the view across the street from my old office).

Since I couldn't find any lavender at the nursery this morning, I bought an octet of blue ageratum plants to put in the new planter on my back deck. I'd bought them because they were small, pretty, and wouldn't poison the alley cats, but after the fact I've found out that they're easy to care for and their scent is offensive to mosquitoes—being used in commercial repellents. Jackpot!

So during the protests last night someone drove up to the building where I work and shot a contracted security guard. Not even a cop, just a contractor.

assholes.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Ugh. Mr. S's clock starting playing the nighttime routine around 5:15 this morning(he likes to randomly reset it), followed by the wakeup music. Of course, that meant that he starting yelling for someone to open his door around 6:30. He won't get dressed either. Bleah.
