Embarrassing scenario: say you get scratched on your bare leg by a piece of old metal (kind of like thick wire, like you'd make a trellis with). It's definitely a scratch, not a puncture, but it's about 4 inches long and drew blood.
Do you go get a tetanus shot or not?

All of this make me wonder if I'm due for a tetanus booster or not. I might have gotten one a couple of years ago with a flu shot? That sounds right.

When I was nine I wondered if that rusty nail would penetrate through the sole of my sneaker. Don't be as curious as I was at nine.

Ya'll it is TOO HOT. It's still 72 degrees here, in the middle of the night. Bleck.
I got my last tetanus shot two years ago, so I'm probably good until 2028. As clumsy as I am, I really try to stay on top of that one.
It's 73 degrees here at 7 am and I'm miserable. I can't get my bedroom cooler than 72, and that's 4 degrees above my comfort zone.
I'm hot all the time now. Damn hot flashes. I had no idea it was possible to be so hot without actually bursting into flame.
I've been blessed again by a well shaded house. It's 75 here, but my house is still cool. I am already running A/C though. I switched my unit to A/C & Heat about a week ago. I also turned it completely off for a couple of days and had the back door open in the afternoon. Last night it was up to 78 in here before I realized and turned it back on.
