I think - though I cannot be more confident until later today, when I'll speak to the TA - that I finally nailed down a nasty logical ouroboros for a policy paper that's been pecking my mind for more than a week now.
Finally, some peace of mind in that front.
Well, I certainly picked the right time to stop coloring my hair. I now have about an inch of white hair at the roots, but the auburn is hanging on amazingly. For those of you who don't have white hair, it does tend to grab the color and hang on to it. I had originally thought it might be fun, once the auburn was gone, to use one of those colors - pink, blue, lavender - that you can buy. Then I remembered that the color would hang on ... and on ... and on ... and decided that would probably be a bad idea (unless I really liked the color).
A woman where I get my nails done has very white hair and she has had varieties of pink, blue, and purple over the years. I'm so jealous of how nice it looks, and holds.
Is the Canadian "borrow" first vowel approximately the first vowel in (Canadian) "sorry" as well?
Probably, but it's not like either would ring as weird to me, y'know?
For me, it's a hair away from "burrow". Relatedly, every time we go up to visit M's mom, I come away with a stronger Ontario accent than he does.

I like Splat for the reds, but I've not tried the green.

Stuff has come up slowing down my ability to do work on the board, but I found a problem with the log rotation and hopefully fixed it.

Downside to working from home - we are under an excessive heat warning and I don't have air conditioning. Or frozen peas. I do have my onerous weekly conference call with Target, though.

I'm tired of looking at spreadsheets and working on bid documents and such, but so very thankful to have the work right now.
