Our wings are not tired

I'm tired of looking at spreadsheets and working on bid documents and such, but so very thankful to have the work right now.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Glad you have work, Noise, and hope it's not too too long before you get to do the fun part again!

Yay ND! Fingers crossed for you and your people.

I was about to hop in the shower and suddenly decided it was time to cut my hair. Nothing drastic—probably an inch off in the back, and similar in a few other spots? We shall see how it looks once dry. Hopefully the back is ok!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Frustrated as I am with my hair running wild, I'm not about to try cutting it myself. I'm not good with hair styling ... and I still remember my one attempt at coloring my hair myself. That ended with a co-worker peering up at me and asking if I had pink hair (the answer, alas, was yes).

Belated, but we very much appreciate the work you're putting into the board, Gud.

Thanks. I'll be happy once I've confirmed log rotation is working correctly. One less task for admins.

Just curious, about how many people wear masks when you are at a store these days? Seems like it's fallen to about 10% in my area.

I wear a mask any time I'm outside my apartment or my office. At the store, most people wear masks. The public transit system requires masks and most people seem to comply. Outside, walking around ... it's fewer and fewer people.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Gary took Mr. S out to play, and of course small boy got all muddy, so a bath is going on now....

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Just curious, about how many people wear masks when you are at a store these days?

It's required by law here. And people will get angry if you're not wearing one.
