We have crows in our neighbourhood. My favourite residents though are the kookaburra pair that moved in sometime while we were visiting America.

The hardest thing about having teens exploring their gender identity is trying to not get too involved in the process. Waiting until they ask for advice, being supportive, and open to whatever comes takes a lot of patience. I just want them to be happy, you know. In whatever form that takes.
I feel like that's pretty much true for teens in every context, not just exploring gender identity. It's so hard to be patient and not offer advice until they ask.
That seems like it's a lot of parenting - letting them figuring stuff out and being ready to help without taking over. ~ma for all that, Cashmere

My crows have been extra loud and demanding of snacks, and the fledglings are starting to appear.
I have now petted all three of the calico kittens while feeding them, though the one with a half mask also delivered a surprisingly strong bite to my hand when I tried to pick her up.
