Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
We love you, Tom.
Yeah yeah yeah
It's not that 93,111 Americans have died OF COVID-19, they died WITH it. Other stuff killed them and this whole thing has been blown wildly out of proportion.

Rebuttal question:
Why does the country with "the greatest healthcare system in the world" have so many unhealthy people in it?
I walked away - mark your calendars.
Though New Roommate & Spare Roommate (TM Theodosia) lack the usual adult skills regarding the sharing of refrigerators, dishwashers, and TP replacement, they mercifully grasp basic disease transmission so I am spared that drama at home.
Are Jesse & Theo the only north-of-Boston Buffistas other than me?
I'm asking, because I'm wondering if anyone knows anyone renting out any apartments in the area. It felt funny to put something in Beep Me or Press if there are only two people who might know someone.
My oldest son is looking for a studio or one-bedroom. He already rented for a year (on his own) in Quincy (and can provide a good reference), but when he changed jobs, he moved home, because it's an easier drive from our house (Wakefield) to his new office (Waltham). He's looking for something somewhere around here to around there. He drives to work, so T access is not a necessity.
Because C is immune compromised (and lives with us), B thinks at some point he'll resume something more of a new-normal life than we can (mostly seeing his girlfriend, who is a nurse) unless/until there's a vaccine. He's been really responsible about the health threat.
Last night was the 1st time he's seen his GF since the 1st week of March. It was her birthday, so he brought her presents and some takeout food over. She ate on the porch, while he ate in his car with the window open so they could talk, then they hung out for half an hour in their masks, 12 feet apart.
He is a college grad, employed full time, has good credit, doesn't smoke (anything), drinks socially, doesn't host parties, is clean, etc. He'd rather not be tied to a year lease only because the world is topsy-turvy right now. He did have a lease at the last place and didn't break it or anything.
If you hear of someone renting out anything please let me know. He's not in a big rush, and is flexible about move-in.

Oh, hey, is the new Twilight Zone back?
My niece just connected with me on LinkedIn. This is so weird.
Cindy, do you have any idea of his budget? I see a lot of postings.
Thanks, Jesse.
He's looking in the neighborhood of $1200 but can go a couple hundred higher. He's using Zillow and other sites, but I know sometimes, people try to stick to word-of-mouth if it's an owner-occupied place.
Month-to-month seems a little harder to find, too. He doesn't expect to get laid off, but he's conservative money-wise, so he doesn't want to get locked into a lease and then get laid off.
I'll keep an eye out!
