I got dispatched on a 35-mile round trip to deliver a 'care package' of clothes and toiletry items to one of our residents who is in a rehabilitation facility after a bout of COVID. Only to find after driving all that way that despite what the resident and the social worker who suggested it thought, outside clothes and so on are not permitted to be given to the patients currently.
(Our facility does, fwiw, and so does at least one other rehab place in Cambridge. So it didn't occur to US that this might be a possibility.)
At least it was an easy drive (to Stoughton, for those who know their Boston geography so it was all Southeast Expressway which used to be ..dire) and I saw goslings!
My hair is currently at 1961 Beatle. I figure in about ten days, it will reach 1962 Beatle.
Timelies all!
As usual, tired and stressed.
Someone commented that these days marijuana is legal and haircuts aren't ... and so the hippies won.
Silly silly me...
It's not that 93,111 Americans have died OF COVID-19, they died WITH it. Other stuff killed them and this whole thing has been blown wildly out of proportion.

The Comorbidity Deflection.
Rebuttal question:
Why does the country with "the greatest healthcare system in the world" have so many unhealthy people in it?
