That house is divine. Almost worth the humidity.
Almost.

That house is divine. Almost worth the humidity.
Almost.
I didn't think I would "oh, mama" a house I saw online on the other side of the world, but there you go.
Ok, Shir made me giggle.
Timelies all!
According to my supervisor we'll be in the lab more starting next week, due to an increase of patients.(The numbers had been down recently because of safety precautions.)
My county is so sane we may be gearing up for a fight with the TX governot and AG.
(The typo was too apropos to fix)
The people at the nearby bodega (customers and others) are not wearing masks. I think I might have to stop going there and walk to the actual grocery store because that is not on. I like my flannel cat mask I made because it is still chilly here- keeps me warm while I am walking.
I am going into work on Thursday and trying to figure out if I take the bus or an Uber. I still can't find hand sanitizer online or in a store I can walk to. I still have a little bit, so not dire.
And remember, simple soap and water works better -- it's just that the sanitizer is more convenient, thus more likely to get used frequently.
I was dragging my imaginary tail so hard at work today that it's surprising that I wasn't leaving a furrow in the carpeting. Now that I've been home for a couple hours, read a bit, napped a bit, I'm so much better.
Early on in this madness - in response to attempts at profiteering - I'd suggested that an ethical way to make a bundle would be to develop a hand sanitizer that wouldn't dry out your skin. About two days later, I saw an ad for one - they sell it online, ship to you. One selling point is that it foams, so you can see that you're sanitizing your own hands.
Personally, I just wash my hands a lot.
Fuck, my BP is stupid low, not just for a Lang, but for a human (89/62). I'd been getting some lightheadedness and dizziness on and off for a couple (few?) weeks and assumed that they were stress-related. I didn't take my BP because I am (1) a dumbass who (2) figured a Lang would never have low BP during a fucking mega-stress-inducing global crisis. But Tim shamed me into it (I excel at adulting, having to be shamed into monitoring my health) and then made me re-take it 3 times because it was so low. Then he took his to be sure the BP monitor worked right (SPOILER: it did).
Guess I can stop the BP meds for the time being. Jesus.
I used to walk past that house all the time when I lived on Annunciation. Also, down the street from Frankie and Johnny's
Looks like a great neighborhood between St. Charles Streetcar and Magazine Street with Audobon Park nearby.
