Omg I'm watching Law and Order on Hulu and this episode is from like 2001 and the way they talk about the Internet is so hilarious

I'm trying to stay awake on the train ride home right now. I left home at 6 ish this morning. I are tired.
We started watching L&O from the beginning because H had never seen it, and I hadn't seen a lot of it. It's an absolute riot watching him react as all of Hollywood guest stars on this show, and the leads change. Hey--that's--!
Yup.
I stand by the idea that the most famous person usually did it -- even if they weren't famous yet when they shot it.
Sophia, I would probably take the time and effort to buy/bake the keto bread and make stuffing with that for T'day. But I did see a couple good looking recipes. I have family members that are keto for their diabetes.
This one is made with keto bread - [link]
This one is the best looking cauliflower one. Now I love cauliflower so I would be happy with that anyway. It is mostly about the sage, thyme, and butter. It uses pecans for crunch and I would probably throw some walnuts in there too. [link]
Lots of keto people like sausage dressing, but sausage grosses me out so I won't make that for them!
I need to start packing at some point here soon.
Pack!
I am off to recount central in a few minutes. Today we have my state rep who is behind by 36 votes in a district where 80,000 voted. (I have hope) Then the agriculture commissioner, which looks good for us. Ag might not sound like a big deal, but concealed weapons is under that header so I would like to see her win. Also all the environmental stuff that has to do with agriculture. The Republicans have held it a long time but the Dem is up at this point, and she is a really good choice too.
You go put democracy in action!
I'm beginning to be of the opinion that ALL elections should have recounts, as a matter of course. You know where most 'illegal voting' is actually detected? Recounts! Plus they expose problems with the voting software/hardware/process that embarrass state and county officials into actually Doing Something.
(Except maybe in FL.)
I'm at my in-laws in Michigan and we're having early Thanksgiving today. I'm trying to not say things like "why don't I run to the store to get heavy cream so we can have real whipped cream" or "why don't I run to the farmstand to pick up apples so we can have real applesauce." The food we'll have will be fine and I appreciate the work going into it even if it's not the way my family does things. Plus we'll be with my family Thursday for 2nd Thanksgiving. Still...
