Well, personally, I kind of want to slay the dragon.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Dana, your husband (and you!) deserve immense praise for putting up with all that drawn-out bullshit for so long. What assholes.

What Amy said! And I hope you get those sweet sweet benefits.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

I would like to echo DebetEsse in wishing I could bring all y'all here: there haven't been any new confirmed cases on the island in nearly a week, and with only one ferry running and all the cruise ships having canceled their stops in Seattle, we're expecting a lot less tourist traffic this season.

Our wings are not tired.

It really helps to know that there are places where people are staying safe.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Today I have been on WebEx, Zoom, GoToMeeting, and then watched the Governor on FB Live.

I love the idea of either of those islands (or New Zealand) for the duration.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

The BBC has released some images to use as Zoom backgrounds. I'm sure you'll recognize them.

edited to add: that link's to the article, which links to the actual images. Sorry ... I got a little overeager.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Woke up at 6 because Nova was scratching at our door. At least I did not wake up at 3 or 4, like I've done a number of nights recently.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

Sounds like eating in a Doctor Who episode.

What is this, a restaurant for bossy control freaks?

Although I have to admit, My first thought was, "I hope they're using the spoilt wine for that!"

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Y'ALL!

MY NEMESIS!!! He sent me ANOTHER 2 big envelopes with hard copies of these proposals AND all mixed up varieties of old forms, new form, incomplete packets, also things that shouldn't come to me at all. I emailed him again, provided what I think is clear instruction, attached the correct SINGLE form that should be used.

And then I asked my co-worker if he was old, thinking maybe all this stuff was just overwhelming him with online forms and scanning and whatnot if he was super old school.

NO! He's like 27!!!!!!

I hates him.

I just sent two "sorry I couldn't get to this today" emails to customers. Blech.
