Up until the punching, it was a real nice party.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm currently cuddling on the couch with ltc watching Gravity Falls while TCG finishes making dinner.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Husband wants Thai food, which is great, except the restaurant is having a really good Mother's Day, I guess, and can't even take more order for another 15 minutes, and then it will probably be like 45 minutes before we have food.

OR we have the pecan pie we just bought. I know what I want.

Called back twice, still have not been able to order.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

No idea if it's true, but I heard someone say that Mother's Day is usually the biggest restaurant day of the year?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yeah, the food was good, but I'm not convinced it was worth the aggravation.

I gave up today and after two months of not touching another human being went to my friends' house and hugged the hell out of them. (They agreed to this plan beforehand). I just couldn't anymore. Spent the afternoon with them in their backyard and it was good for my soul.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I am waiting to do so myself, meara. I just don't feel safe yet. Israel started exit strategies about a week ago, and I'm waiting another one to see the numbers and figure out how safe it is. My people are terrible in keeping social distancing so I'm being extra careful.

ION, this board drove me to watch Due South so I want you to know that it's you're fault that I have all the feelings after watching the last three episodes of S1 over the weekend. I had no idea I could relate so much to a fictional Mountie and I'm in a bucket of emotional pain. Thank you.

I'm sorry and you're welcome, Shir.

Because books.

The baker at work -- J, just 22, a complete sweetheart -- gave me the most impromptu bear hug with nonus back stroking yesterday and I almost cried, it felt so good. We were both wearing our masks, too.
