I hear you, Dana.
I keep thinking - sigh this is gonna be very mememe and I don't mean it to be but that's what I have to work with - anyway, after Katrina, a friend of mine that I wasn't super tight with had died and I only found out because he was sort of slightly famous so it was in the paper, and it made me wonder about all the people I only knew to nod at in the neighborhood or whatever and whether they were okay and it seemed almost certain that many of them were not but I would never know and it's that times a thousand for all of us now, isn't it?
I don't like it.
And people who are okay with making it worse are terrible human beings.
Guess what I just scored after talking about it for years? A grey market CD-R of Precious Bane with Janet McTeer! Wooooo!
Sorry to hear about that, Dana.
I'm sorry, Dana.
msbelle, that is awesome news about Mac!
I watched that not too long ago, Hec. It's very good. Janet McTeer was scary in Ozark.
I'm sorry, Dana.
Trudy, much ~ma for your aunt and your family and you. May she be well.
mbelle, MAC CALLED YOU WOOOO
I made a perfect steak. Inch thick, pan fried, just a bit past pink in the middle, just a bit of char on the outside, soft and moist and chewy. And perfect smooth buttery mashed potatoes. A good meal makes me happy.
Wooden corset alert:
That's fucking AMAZING.
But you neglected to mention there's video of the aunt fencing the cat (who really can't parry at all).

The pasta I'm planning to make just got less satisfying.
Sorry, Epic. (Not sorry.)
