Maybe cc her back on a post thanking people who don't hear what they want to hear when told the opposite?
Health~ma to your aunt, Trudy!
In First World Problems, I held off on ordering shrimp & grits from my favorite downtown restaurant because they were offering beef Wellingtons with roasted asparagus and garlic new potatoes for dinner. Which sold out by 3::30, as it turns out.
Does that mean you have the shrimp as a fallback?
Timelies all!
My folks are here, and my dad is watching tv with the volume waaay up, as usual.
The tracking on my Green Chef delivery just changed from "by 5pm" to "by 9pm". I guess I'll have a frozen dinner tonight.
It is weirdly gratifying to think "damn, it's hot" and have your phone confirm that it is 97F.
Okay, we really need benefits.
Yeah, that makes sense. Good luck, you guys.
You guys, I made pizza with stuff I had in my house and no pre-planning, and it is good!
Edit: You GUYS!!!
Yay pizza!
I have some leftover pizza in the freezer, but I think I'm gonna get takeout from the Mexican place around the corner. They have amazing chips and tacos.
-t, I'm very grateful it's at least 10 degrees cooler here than there.
Yay pizza!
I'm grateful tomorrow is supposed to be 15 degrees cooler!
Mmmm, pizza! Well done. My dinner was really tasty tortilla chips and hummus. And a frozen pineapple bar. Lazy = me.
Does that mean you have the shrimp as a fallback?
Nope, that was the lunch special that I opted out of in favor of getting dinner from there. My lunch was a cheap burger and fries that I'd have been perfectly happy with if I weren't comparing it to the shrimp and grits. Oh well, somehow I'll soldier on.
