The doctor is actually seeing patients in person today, and they're screening out anyone with covid symptoms or exposure, so I'm going to see her and just get this dealt with.

Relief~ma, Dana.
Hopefully my "friend" who keeps sending me Covid conspiracy theories will take me off her list since I have simply responded "Not True" to the last few. I can't even with these people.
I need to go into the office to process more of the %^&% paper things, but I opted to work from home today. I am still sore from working in the yard Saturday and also tired.
I am managing to get several task taken care of the last couple of days that require nothing physical.
- called contractor about getting quote for gate and garage door - He sent out an electrician to quote that portion and I have that, but I need the full quote to know if I am proceeding.
- called the Boston Terrier Rescue in TX to see where we were on things. Good thing I did, because they had missed my last message and were waiting on me, while I am over here waiting on them. so now things are moving again.
- called Walmart to verify that I can get the new dog's insulin and needles without a prescription.
- ordered a soft sided pet carrier for the plane.
- order new checks with new address
- order new return address stamp
I went over to what will be my new apartment to pick up keys, etc., measure some things and just look. It's nice - large, freshly painted (soft grey with white trim). They left toilet paper, paper towels, light bulbs and a plastic shower curtain for me. Toilet seat and shower head wrapped in plastic with notes that they'd been "sanitized". Can't get a mover until June, but I can begin to hand carry some things over.
Meanwhile, I'm at the office. My boss stopped by since his chair at home isn't workable, so he took the one from his office. It's very, very quiet.
oh - good reminder I need to buy an office chair.
anyone have specific chairs to recommend?
That sounds nice Toddson!
I'm in the surgery waiting room. The receptionist is screening people with a thermometer....and wearing her mask below her nose. Jesus.

Maybe if she just wore it on a lanyard around her neck, or perched on top of her head.
Oh, how they are going to miss me.
My schadenfreude is working overtime with me "working from home" when I can't do much from here. I think the thirty minutes was it for the day. But I resolved 5 issues and finished what I can do.

That is terrifically irresponsible, especially for someone working in medical right now.
