I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I'm calling it a day. I got a grocery delivery from Sprouts I am going to wash down and then I think some scones. I have not baked anything yet and my house could do with some warmth. Then to the basement and hopefully at least 2 more masks.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Everyone drink some water! (I already posted that on Facebook, but I thought I'd throw out the reminder here, too.)

This post brought to you by my first glass of water for the day, which I drank at 2:30 p.m. My hydration could be better.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

There's no way I can catch up, but I am SO sorry for your horrible family loss, Susan.

And thanks for the reminder to drink water, Teppy.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm so sorry, Susan.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You know, if I can keep working from home indefinitely I see no reason why I couldn't work from Baltimore...

So, Miss Kitty is doing that aggressive purr thing she does when she wants me to feed her but not enough to stomp and meow, so I look at the time and say "Well, you're not unright"

Unright

I think something has shorted in my brain

Hey. New board.

Hi all. Been lurking even more than usual. Always good to read all of your words, even if I don't add much these days.

We are leaving Brazil tomorrow to hunker down in my parents summer townhome in Northfield, MN for the summer. Still teaching distance for the next month, but hoping that by late May, things will be cracking open enough to do some reasonably distant visiting with my brother and twin nieces at least.

The film crew at our school, inspired by some of my wife's Tik Toks, decided to make a video documenting the craziness of two full time teachers and three kids, partly to build empathy with our demanding parent community. [link]

I think something has shorted in my brain

The other day, as I went to sit on the couch, I said to myself, "I'll just watch something until the boop-boop."

And by that I meant the oven timer.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You know, if I can keep working from home indefinitely I see no reason why I couldn't work from Baltimore...

Yeah, this came up in a meeting I was in this afternoon. One possible answer is employment and tax laws, but I've got to think it's cheaper to have MD employees than CA.

Wow!

The other day, as I went to sit on the couch, I said to myself, "I'll just watch something until the boop-boop."

That sounds normal, honestly!
