Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

I had a whole discussion with some coworkers about how globes are not magic like that!

ETA: gloves, not globes

Ann, that's a ferret.

I use bandannas, too. I have several in different colors, so I can coordinate with what I'm wearing.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

AUGH. I donated blood last Thursday and had some kind of allergic reaction, presumably to the antiseptic, so I have what's basically a mosquito bite around where the needle went in and I ignored it for a while and am now using a steroid cream on it and it still itches like a mofo and is slowly driving me insane.

Thrive to spite them

If we are on the registers at work we have to wear gloves. I will be sanitizing my hands as often as possible even with gloves.

At the meeting this morning I asked something about customers not following directions and my manage was most giddy when he said he would tell them no. We have a lot of power now, or managers do so the "customer is always right" thing is going to end for the most part.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

If anyone has been looking for shelf-stable milk options without much luck (I could not find unsweetened coconut for weeks), Sprouts, which has instacart delivery, has a lot available for me locally.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

Random thought: A show about a group of monsters that live at the corner of Maple and Elm.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Ohio has food year-round.

This will NEVER not crack me up.

I ran out of bourbon and the only grocery delivery slot available was early-morning on Sunday when NY state law says you can't deliver alcohol.

Susan, I am so sorry for your loss.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Random plea: Dana, shrift, now that I'm falling down this rabbit hole, can I ask for recs on any good juicy thinky pieces on dS? I'm not a massive fic reader, which makes me a bad Buffista, but I do dearly love me some nice rich lit-crit-caliber analysis of a TV show, which makes me a good Buffista after all.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ohio has food year-round.

Aren't you fancy!
