That's a nifty gallery, dcp. I'm glad for you that your eyebrows grew back!

Such a nice face, dcp. I'm glad your eyebrows came back!
Yeah, great pictures, dcp!
So good to see your smiling face, dcp! Hair or no hair, you're a happy sight.
dcp, those are great pictures and wonderful smiles! I can't quite remember your hair from the one time we met, at the Seattle F2F--are the waves your default, or are they that weird temporary post-chemo side effect of sudden abundant curliness? I know a couple of people to whom that happened, and it was very disconcerting.
Also, yay eyebrows! Welcome back!
It needs to be in a separate post from the celebration of the return of dcp's hair:
I just visited my friend's mom the due South fanartist, and we watched the Victoria episodes. And I was so utterly emotionally devastated afterward that she insisted I take home one of her great personal treasures to comfort myself with until next week's visit.
YOU GUYS. RIGHT NOW I HAVE, SITTING ON MY ACTUAL PHYSICAL LAP, ONE OF THE SETS OF LATE-IN-THE-RUN BLUE SUSPENDERS THAT PAUL GROSS WORE ON THE ACTUAL SHOW, PILFERED BY A CREW MEMBER WHO GAVE THEM TO HER IN EXCHANGE FOR SOME ORIGINAL ART.
I am doing ACTUAL PAUL GROSS ARMS here.

All the bullshit sucks.
I'm supposed to get blood labs every 3 months. I snuck one in before the shutdown. My rheumatologist was like, if you can go out to get one safely in June, great, but I'm not holding my breath. Results have been unchanging, we aren't changing meds, don't fret it, I'll renew scripts. Just call me immediately if you experience xy or z.
I had a telemedicine appt last week that I assumed was a COVID-19 follow-up, but when I logged on the doctor was deeply confused and said, "It says here that you're overdue for a pap smear. I don't think telemedicine tech has quite advanced enough for us to do those remotely. How about I mark this entire appointment as an error so you don't get billed?"
After the billing issues were taken care of, we had a lovely chat about my virtual background (eagle-vs.-dragon marginalia from an illuminated manuscript, and it turns out she is a huge medieval illuminated manuscripts geek who used to haunt The Cloisters during all her off hours as a medical student in NYC, so that was quite fun (but the pap issue remains unresolved)).
