I have been reliably informed that you can just sift the weevils out.
That may or may not* have happened to a certain Trudy and her college roommate and a box of cake mix resulting in a very flat yet still tasty (and possibly protein enhanced) cake.
- "May not" in that it could have been some other bug - what did I know from weevils? We definitely went ahead with that cake.

Haven't said that in a while, kinda fun
My boss asked for my self-assessment which, to be fair, was due to her middle of March. I didn't do it because I was overwhelmed with work and did not care about my annual review. I am now even more overwhelmed with work and care even less. So that's fun.
I'm supposed to have my monthly "career growth plan" meeting with my boss this week. Is "staying minimally productive while hanging onto my last shred of sanity" a valid career goal?
Jessica, no less valid than "not get yelled at while navigating these last months before retirement."
Good one, Jessica, I may have to steal
Jealous of your goal, Fred!! Jessica i think in these trying times that is a perfectly cromulent goal!
The weather has returned to our usual gray after a week of beauty. And my mood has cratered. Every day is the same. All things are boring. Big bowl of whyyyyyyy
What I want to say in my self-eval - Keep paying me and I will keep trying to get through the mountain of work that is dumped on me every day
The person I'm talking to about pharmacy benefits just went on a tangent about grapes.
If I end up getting the 'rona I'll know to blame it on taco Tuesday. I just went to a local Mexican restaurant that had five people crammed into the phone booth-style setup for to-go orders at the entrance, and another 8 or 9 construction workers constantly cycling in and out from the truck (singular!) they drove up in like a game of musical chairs.
MA schools are closed until the end of the school year and day cares until at least te the end of June. I'm assuming the same will apply to school camp.
