Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I don't even use milk- I use heavy whipping cream in my coffee and for cooking, but I am one single child free person.

I had liverwurst and dill relish again today. I am pretty low on meat, so I too may venture out today- I also just want to take a walk.

I have an instructor who cannot understand that right now we cannot mail the certificates she has signed to her students- because they are in the office and they are not worth going in for! We have to get approval from the dean to enter the building! We can send them electronically to the students! She is just not getting it. Yes, I know she already signed them in the fall.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I saw that, in Florida, professional wrestling is an essential service. One comment I saw, along with a picture, was that, in Mexico, at least they wear masks.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I found baking soda in the pantry, about a week after I had to substitute ancient baking powder in the banana muffins I made.

Hey. New board.

The boxed milk really isn't bad for many things, including yogurt making, cereal, and coffee. Don't love it just plain but ymmv. It's basically all they have in Brazil so we have gotten used to it and buy it 15 liters at a time.

Bananas will keep much longer in the fridge - the skin turns black but the inside stays good.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Toddson, is there anyone out while you are walking up the hill? If not, leave the mask off.

I was so annoyed on my walk this morning -- I saw very few other people, but I was the ONLY one with a mask on! I wanted to take mine off too, but kept it on to be a good example. Feh. And yes, I'm always panting.

I don't quite get the sudden mass brainworm to jump from "I never make bread and now I'm going to do the big commitment version"

As a very occasional previous bread-maker, it's literally just the idea of being home to deal with start-up phase. I am resisting, because I will not stay a weekly bread maker, but I get the urge. I mean, I was also about to google how to make my own pastrami. Have I ever bought pastrami at the grocery store? Not in 10+ years.

I just taught my mother that this week!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I was also about to google how to make my own pastrami.

Talk about avoiding the shallow end of the pool.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I forgot to buy apples at the store! And they were completely out of bacon, and mostly out of sausage -- I had to buy brautworst. This was my first trip to the "big" grocery store in my neighborhood in about a month, I think, and it was really stressful.

I think I'm just gonna keep going to the tiny one around the corner, and mostly give up on meat. They have produce, cheese, milk, and eggs; everything else I can get by without.

That said, I did buy Ben & Jerry's while I was at the store, although even there the selection was limited.

I slept so badly last night that I texted in that I was taking the morning off, and instead went for a run in the park. It was great, beautifully sunny, and I saw about a dozen turkeys and 8 rabbits. And only about 4 people.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I think at least some of that is "I can't find yeast anywhere so let's try capturing my own"?

I forgot I ordered wasabi with my lunch and just ate the whole wad of it in one bite thinking it was some other salad-y thing. Oops.

In regard to the sourdough thing, it could be that people are finding bread out of stock in the stores. Or, when I have a snow day, I have the urge to bake bread ... although (1) there hasn't been a snow day for over a year and (2) I used to bake a lot, but haven't for some time.

Punishingly Intricate

2 weeks ago I managed some fresh stuff in my Aldi delivery, but from what I am hearing the larger markets are just way more wiped out.

Mom's has had plenty of fresh produce when I go on Friday morning. And of course you know the Farmer's Market is up and running! Plus Charmington's is doing produce and other grocery sales. We're really fortunate here.
