Our wings are not tired.

Yay for being home! You might want to consider a plastic pee container to have next to the bed in case of middle of the night urgency if you don't think you can make it. That could be the old lady in me talking! I keep considering that for Otter Lake because it is a long dang walk downstairs and I generally have to go a couple times during the night. One of these years I will either need to put an upstairs bathroom in, or get a portable device. So far I have just convinced myself it was a bit of exercise.

Oh Katie Bee! In Florida I have everything in plastic containers because of the possibility of little critters, in Otter Lake I use plastic because of mice! Yes, past life experience has taught me this lesson. I never saw a mouse this year, but Zoe was convinced they were there as she barked at the chimney and walls often.

I'm trying to exercise my way out of funk. Swam 60 laps (an hour) each day for the last few days and today started with a 6:30 AM walk with Zoe. I know being active helps, and taking a look at my overgrown yard it is clear there is no shortage of stuff to do.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh man, Katerina! That would wig me right out, in addition to the hassle and loss of food!

I know being active helps, and taking a look at my overgrown yard it is clear there is no shortage of stuff to do.

My mother has been having some problems with her hip, and said to me the other day that after sweeping all the leaves and doing other active things, she actually felt better! I take this as my cue not to sweep more leaves...

In crabby news, I walked to work in the rain, which was fine, except I didn't wear rain boots, so my feet got wet, so I changed shoes when I got to the office, which is also fine, except I should have just worn the dang rain boots!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Gud, I hope you're feeling better today. Please at least post and let us know you're okay.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Love ya, Gud.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Most of the time when my back is achy, taking a walk makes it feel better. Which annoys me, because I'd rather have an excuse to lie down on a heating pad.

Lol, Laura, yes I have totally been contemplating options from "using a rolling office chair" to "adult diapers". Made it downstairs this morning, albeit later than normal. May call out sick after a meeting in a few minutes. My head hurts.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Also waiting for Gud to check in. Has anyone seen him posting anywhere else yesterday or today?

Annoying! Heating pads for all!

But again, not as annoying as meara's broken leg. I wish I could magick you an elevator.

I really hope Gud checks in. It makes me panicky when someone expresses suicidal thoughts and then contact stops.
