hey, shrift! Are you working crazy hours?
Welcome back, esse!
I am a bit worried about Gud.
Me, I'm managing my anxiety by keeping ill-informed. If I follow the news too closely it gives me insomnia and anxiety. And since there's not much I can do other than stay home and make financial contributions, that's what I'm doing. Oh, and baking.
Yeah, esse, thanks for sharing your update and pronouns with us!
Hi, esse! It's good to see you posting here. Thank you for letting us know your pronouns.
Hi esse it's good to see your pixels around.
I got an email from work, they've partnered with an organization for a grant to provide $250 (or up to $250) to employees and encouraged everyone to fill out the application. It seemed like everyone was going to get something so that's nice that they are trying to continue to help.
That's good, askye! Any little thing.

Are you working crazy hours?
Yeah, I'm an exhausted ball of stress with bonus insomnia. I'm leading a task force and I'm in tons of meetings. Everything is changing every five minutes. Stuff keeps breaking. My team is having to take on additional work because various countries around the world are being more aggressive with lockdowns, and not everyone can WFH or is approved to WFH due to the sensitive nature of the information we're handling.
When I'm not working, I'm mostly trying to convince myself that I'm not too tired to cook, reading fic, or collapsing on the couch to play video games or watch comedies.
Hi everyone! Glad to be here outside of lurking.

I love this scale.
I've run out of rice, I think I will be eating barley this Passover, but steamed not cooked into bread. I am trying to maintain some semblance of observing restrictions.
My cousin just called me to thank me for organizing such a lovely seder. So that was nice. I made a Haggadah and emailed the PDF to everyone, and I lead the seder, and I'd emailed everyone a list of the things they'd need for the seder (and got like five last-minute phone calls about what to do if they were missing some foods), and I organized the Zoom call (and upgraded to a paid Zoom account for the month, since the free ones will only let you host a meeting for 40 minutes, and I know my family, and we were not going to be able to keep logging back in every 40 minutes for several hours. It took nearly 40 minutes just to get everyone logged in once.)
I'm still kind of pinballing all over the place emotionally. Holidays alone suck.
