Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

Our wings are not tired.

That is wonderful, Teppy! Congrats to you both.

I've lost my DH to basketball season again. He's coaching at a different school. I haven't met them yet. First game is next week.

Still no idea what I am doing for T'day. I miss having huge holiday dinners here with both families. So up in the air completely.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's so great, Tep!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

He does have to get up at 5:15 now, which is kind of brutal for him, BUT if you come home at 5:30 p.m., you can take a nap before dinner! (True story: he really did try to nap today, and after 15 minutes he gave up and said "I tried to nap but I was too excited about being home by 5:30!")

Gud your wife would have figured something out if you weren't in her life. A few weeks go my low pressure warning light ent on and I thought maybe it was because it got kinda cold. And then it persisted so several days later I finally got to the tire shop and all the tires were low. They had to change the air valve thingies.

But no is around to do that for me so I do it myself. And she can figure out these things for herself.

Yay Tim's new job! That's awesome!

I am HOME!! I packed my stuff up, and my friends put it in one friend's car, and she unloaded everything, and then the other friends picked up dinner and moved some more things for me. I now have a TV in my room (before, it was in our downstairs, but now I want TV!). I have my scooter downstairs, and can go up and down the stairs on my peg leg. I'm a little worried about like, going to the bathroom in the middle of the night, because peg leg is annoying for that--put it on, go into the bathroom, take it off, use the bathroom, put it back on, get back to bed, take it off...too much! But haven't figured out a good plan yet. I did order a new scooter (the ATV version! So it has air-filled tires to be easier on crazy sidewalks and stuff--the current one is great on wooden floors and in the mall and stuff, but not on sidewalks and curbs and stuff. Decided it was worth the $$
