Jacqueline and her brothers and her father's girlfriend, Wendy, talked with the doctors today. They advised that Gene be taken off the ventilator. This is consistent with his Advance Directive and the family's wishes.
Jacqueline's headed over to the hospital to be with her father while they take him off the ventilator. She'll be the only family member present with him when he passes.
Keep her in your hearts and thoughts.

Matilda is currently doing her science homework.
In an effort to use the pandemic as a teachable moment her teacher has assigned her a whole slew of information about viruses and discussing whether they are a life form or not.
