Omg. My little sister just broke her ankle. She clearly wants to be just like me. Yikes. (Not as badly as I did though—sounds like maybe a cast rather than surgery, I hope?) thankfully she has a husband who can help her.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Calli. And as stated above, no reason a memorial can't be postponed. A service I was supposed to go to on the 20th got rescheduled to July.
Got news that my work has been closed down today - someone self-reported Covid-like symptoms. They're bringing in even more extra cleaners to do a deep-clean this afternoon, sent everybody home today, and the person was going to the doctor. We're supposed to call in tonight to find out if we're open tomorrow. I've been WFH for nearly 2 weeks, so I'm not concerned for myself, but I do worry about the people who have been going in every day. And it means that the tentative plan I had about running in to the office to pick up a couple things from my desk has been put on extended hold.
Are we worried about the wallet, msbelle, or just shaking our heads at the "I'd lose my head if it weren't attached"-ness?
Amy, I'm glad Sara's doing well. And I'm shaking my head at your boss' sheer nerve.
People, stop breaking things!
Husband's interview went well. My interview was also fine, though I'm side-eyeing the fact that they can't tell me if it would be contract or full-time (or contract to full-time), and they may not even know when they're ready to hire. So I'm just supposed to accept a job and not know those details? Um.
Just shaking my head.
I'm sorry, Calli.
Thanks, y'all.
I'm glad your husband's interview went well, Dana. And, yeah, those seem like important details for your own potential job. If nothing else, they should be able to say, "Normally we would do X, Y, and Z for position R. These aren't normal times, so we're still working out certain details about Y and Z."
Just shaking my head.
Oh, good.

Yeah, why not pause the interviewing, if things are so up in the air? (I mean, I feel like companies can already tell if they are extra busy or not at all busy right now??)
I'm sorry to hear about your uncle, Calli. Holding you, your aunt, and your family in my thoughts.
My husband's aunt is at Mass General. She's been intubated and her xrays are consistent with Covid-19.
How are things with the Zmayhem today?
Oh, Cindy, I'm so sorry to hear that. MGH is gold-standard care, though, so there's that, so my fingers are crossed.
