Oh, Amy. That ain't right. Ass her in the ear. Glad to hear Sara is so close to going home!
Yeah, the new owner is a piece of work. Brought up all over the world, the "daughter of philosopher parents" as her bio states (read: wealthy, pretentious white people), and just 29. She has no idea how to be anyone's boss. At least not well.

That brings to mind where Richard Branson is often quoted saying to put employees first and customers second because with happy appreciated employees comes well served customers.
Oh, Amy, that's just awful.
JZ, keeping fingers crossed for your family.
Texas gov is still not ordering a statewide stay-at-home order. I can almost see the argument that we're too big and varied for a single ordnance. And most of the major metropolitan areas already have one kind or another in place. But it's looking more dubious by the day.
Locally we seem to be moving out of panic-buying mode - I went to HEB Sunday around 11 and there was no line to get in, the selves didn't look nearly as picked-over, and I actually got a pack of toilet paper. Aside from groceries and a walk once a night, I'm staying in as much as I can.
Stay Safe!
Amy... 1) WTF!? 2) Have they clarified what you will be paid to WFH(hospital)?
I hope you and Sara are headed home very soon.
I made a supply run to Petco and Target (first time in two weeks and change) so I should be mostly set for a while. No TP, but I've still got some from the before time.
What are the chances that oat milk will be an adequate substitute for milk for a muffin mix?
I use soy milk in pancakes and waffles and they seem to come out OK.

That just means the sick people are going to move around and infect the areas that are stay-at-home. I swear to god, I don't understand why people aren't grasping how quickly this virus covers territory. It's plain to see that it's not going to stop at Austin City Limits.

If New York and California can do it...
Amy, when I had my appendix removed several years ago, I remember it being extremely painful during recovery. Best wishes for her to have minimal pain ... since I'm older and seriously overweight, it might be easier for her. And boss is ... really unreasonable.
