"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

TCG was supposed to be home all day today, but he needed to go into the office for a couple of hours. I'm a little annoyed. I feel significantly less anxiety about all of this when he is home with us.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sorry, sj. I hope he gets back quicker than anticipated.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, my brother got married today! He informed me by sending me a link to the video. They got married standing in the front yard with the officiant 6 feet away.

Oh wow -- congrats to them!

Glad you don't have a fever, -t. Hope you can sleep this off.

Hang in there, sj.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Boris "I shook hands with everybody to show the virus who's in charge" Johnson has tested positive for coronavirus.

Well, it's not Trump or McConnell, but I'll take it.

Or Hannity. My conclusion on the potential existence of a God would be swayed if Trump, Pence, McConnell, and Hannity all were positive.

What is even happening?

flea, a baker in my area was selling flour to customers for $0.75/lb. You might call local shops to see if you can buy some.

Ugh, my dad's CXR is now showing some infiltrates in the right lung, so no extubation for the time being. The nurse is in the room with him so I have to wait another 10-15 minutes and call back for a complete update.

JZ, how did the call about your dad go? How are you feeling? I hope Hec and Matilda are still well.

Wow. That's kind of romantic. Best wishes to them, aurelia.

Thrive to spite them

I'm tryign to fill out the unemployment claim and I have questions. I did call the UI office and get on the list to be called back but my basic questions are this: since I transferred from one store that was in NC to a store that was in SC do I need to put my end of employment date for the last date I was at the NC store.

I don't know what to do and I don't want to mess this up but I want to get this filed as quickly as possible.
