Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

Thrive to spite them

Well.. I went and mixed up my glass with Matthew's and realized I'd been drinking from his for a good 30 mins. So I guess I don't have to keep him at arms length. Although I have slept better the last couple of nights, no waking up with an elbow in my head.

I'm so glad you got good news. Sad you are quarantined and cannot visit, but I'm glad you and your dad have lots of support.

I talked to my oldest friend tonight, which was lovely. She's super busy organizing farmers in Massachusetts, but safely holed up in an old farmhouse on Cape Cod.

Today I went to the Catholic church around the corner, which is open from 9-3 4 days/week, and lit some candles. It's gonna be a hard road, we're gonna need some light.

The first person in my office building is out with flu like symptoms. I got the email late yesterday afternoon. sigh.

Good morning board. Not sure what I heard on the NPR news this morning in my not yet wakefulness or what I dreamt last night, but today already feels heavy.

Our wings are not tired.

Good morning. I forwarded my phones to my cell so I could be a lazy slug on the couch for a bit longer. My doctors and staffs are wearing me out.

good lord and when I send my email to my department informing them of the attendance with 1 out sick, my co-worker asks who it is.

Yeah, I cannot tell you that. We are HR, she should understand HIPAA. Jesusita.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Totally forgot that my boss is buying us all lunch this week (doordash no contact delivery to our homes, magic!) and today is my turn. Oatmeal will be for dinner...

That's fun, t!!

I had some kind of maybe gallbladder attack last night? Woke up in the middle of the night feeling like I was being stabbed. Luckily it only lasted for maybe 10 minutes but I was like "aww crap please don't make me have to go to an ER or have surgery, body! Not now!"

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The lakefront and parks in Chicago are now closed because too many people were still gathering.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

The National Cathedral found 5,000 face masks they'd bought in 2006. They checked with CDC and the masks are still good, so the Cathedral is donating them. 5,000 to Georgetown Hospital, 2,000 to Children's.

edited for details

Our wings are not tired.

I saw an article somewhere about tattoo artists donating their stashes of masks and gloves too.

Some people really don't suck.
