Walking I get. But power walking? Why not just run for a shorter time?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

New York is emphatically not under a shelter-in-place order because our governor has decided it's very important not to call it that. Therefore we are on "PAUSE".

That is even funnier than Ohio's governor insisting that it's not a lockdown or a shelter-in-place; it's just a "stay-at-home." He literally said that during the press conference.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The phrase "shelter-in-place" was apparently a big sticking point for Solano County. To be fair, it gets used for things like industrial accidents where you are sealing the windows until the all clear and this is not that, but that's why we are "shelter at home" instead. Or whatever the statewide thing is, I forget the terminology at this point.

Our wings are not tired.

I can't help but think the stay at home pleas would work better if we had adequate testing and people knew just how much of this virus is around us. One of my office managers was saying she thinks she probably had it a couple weeks ago because she was forced home to bed with horrible fever and breathing issues. She's young and healthy and stayed home forcing hot broth into herself and recovered. Now she wishes she could know if she did have it and maybe is safe now around her patients. But, no way to know!

Thrive to spite them

McMaasters is having a press conference right now, I've missed most of it but it doesn't look like we are being put under shelter in place orders but we are being told to act as if we are infected and could infect others. The police have the authority to break up groups of 3 or more that are deemed a public health risk but it doesn't seem like shelter in place orders are in effect.

We just need shelter in place orders.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

So I've been told to take my work laptop home to WFH on the days I don't go to work. Mind you, I don't have many duties that can be done from home, but the boss says so, so I'm doing it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

TCG is going to be working from home 2 days a week, working in the office with only 1 other person 2 days a week, and mostly having Fridays off.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

That is even funnier than Ohio's governor insisting that it's not a lockdown or a shelter-in-place; it's just a "stay-at-home." He literally said that during the press conference.

PAUSE = Policies Assure Uniform Safety (for) Everyone

Like I know things are crazy right now and they didn't have a lot of time to workshop that, but still.

Our wings are not tired

Now she wishes she could know if she did have it and maybe is safe now around her patients.

But even if she had it she may not be safe. There are already two strains of the virus, and part of what makes it a virulent virus is that it is a fast mutating virus, so by the time re-infection comes around it may have mutated enough that immunity is not working.

Our wings are not tired.

True, ND. We really know next to nothing about this virus.
