Our wings are not tired.

Most of my time the past week or so has been setting up people to WFH. One office of 4 people called to say that 3 of them could WFH, but one had no internet or personal computer. Umm, then she can work alone in the office! Call me lazy, but I don't want to set up a user for WFH who is so not into tech that they don't even have internet.

My time to set up people for WFH has varied from the moments it takes me to email them my written instructions for them to do it themselves, to hours of torture walking them through what a browser is and going from there.

DH has strep throat again. I'm overworked and grumpy.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I've seen the information about making masks; seemingly, Christian Soriano is mobilizing his people, working from home, to make masks. And, in Spain, one man didn't have a mask so he used what he had (video of him being stopped by police). Would have made an interesting mug shot if they'd arrested him ....

Our wings are not tired.

I should add that although I am overworked and grumpy I am grateful that I am in a business that won't be hurt by this crisis. Providing service to medical offices isn't going to be shut down.

I'm really worried about the number of small businesses being crushed by this, and the massive unemployment in the near future.

And I don't have to worry as much about health risks because we could get tested if we needed, and we have insurance and doctors. This is way too rare in our country.

Also, I have Buffistas to help keep me sane.

Truly I am blessed.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Quick illustration of communication in my company - one of my salespeople asks me to call her, she and I talk about a big account and she shares with me a document compiling information saying "I don't know why your department isn't on this, you should be on it". Two minutes after I get off the phone with her I get an email from my boss's boss asking if he shared a doc with me this morning, I tell him salesperson did, he says there's no need for me to be on that one, there's another one for our department, he'll take me off. Of course, since I've seen both docs I know all the information is not on either one, but I guess that is not my problem.

Thrive to spite them

SC gov is resisting shelter Rin place. The Charleston mayor had said business as usual will kill people. We aren't really at business at usual but there are a lot of people going down town and other places. Officially still for work we go back in a week but I'm expecting that to change.

Right now I'm waiting for a call back from the bank because I lost my debit card and waiting to hear my prescription is ready. Although I can't really pick up my prescription until I get a debit card. Or access anything and there isn't a branch open near me.

The whole higj school process in SD sounds stressful and hard under normal circumstances I can't imagine how much more stressful this is making it .

I'm trying to stay off Facebook and Twitter today .

And I keep thinking random things. Like how are people who are minimalists or those tiny homes dealing with shelter in place.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

non- COVID related.

two people at the new job have just decided to respond to my emails with "Becky" - ummmm my signature is my full name. I often sign the emails in addition to the signature with my full name. also? you don't know me - how are you gonna just shorten someones name in a work environment.

I corrected one. the other one is in my department and I just want to handle it gently.
