Theo, do you have oil for your sewing machine? I know I need to lube mine and it's only been sitting for a year.

Jacqueline has tested positive, so we're under strict quarantine for the next two weeks.
I imagine you can get things delivered, but let me know if there's anything that I can drop outside your door.
Sophia, you can soak them off with acetone polish remover. It should soften them up so all you have to do is slide a cuticle pusher (or similar flat implement) underneath to pop them off.
If you put the bowl with the acetone in a bowl of hot water to keep it warm, it works faster.
Also, so much ~ma and social distance virtual hugs to everybody in this bar. Ugh, 'fistas. This sucks.

Umm, I wouldn't recommend this. Granted I have no experience with nail polish removal, but I use acetone in the lab all the time. Acetone already has a high vapor pressure, and if you heat it you get even more fumes, which are wicked flammable. Plus it boils at 132°F, which is about what my hot water tap gives out, so it'll boil in hot water, which would make things worse. Don't do it.
At the nail place they put the acetone on cotton balls and wrap the finger tips in foil to hold them in place for like 10 minutes or so before attempting to remove the acrylic. The also rough up the nails before putting the acetone on them.
That sounds much safer.
Oh no, JZ! Much health~ma to you and all the ZMayhems! May the whole thing remain boring.
I'm Marie-Kondo-ing my jewelry. When I get depressed, I buy stuff, mostly jewelry. I get depressed a lot. There's a mountain of jewelry on my bed right now. Costume, vintage, antique, things I forgot I had, things I don't know why tf I bought. So far the keep pile is smaller than the not-keep pile, so that's good.
We could have a jewelry round Robin! Exchange, whatever. Like the nail polish one!
Signed, also a jewelry hoarder.
